Plasma gives outstanding results which one would normally only expect after surgery. The excess skin, lines or scarring, in the area of concern is sublimated using the plasma beam, which is the process of turning a solid straight into a gas. The treatment results in tissue retraction and tightening which gives the final effect. The results are instant and there is no heat transferred to surrounding tissues that could cause any damage to normal skin.
The treatment consists of multiple Plasma shots spaced closely together in a grid like fashion.
Immediately after the procedure, the treated area will be quite red and slightly swollen. The swelling usually subsides after 3 days while the redness can last for up to 7 days. At the site of each micro dot, a carbon crust will form. These crusts are to be left to come away on their own which usually takes between 5 to 14 days, in some cases this can be longer and some scarring may occur. Balms are given to you after your treatment to keep the area soothed during the healing period.
